Thank you to Year 6 for a great last day at Walsall Wood.  A few tears were obviously shed at the end, but it was an enjoyable final assembly.  Congratulations to all the award winners - Reece, Callum, Lauren, Kameran, Ben and Lauren.

I'm sure you'll all have a great time at Shire Oak (or Brownhills or Aldridge!).  Make sure you keep in touch via the website or just pop into school at anytime!

I'll post some pics of the last week when I get chance - I'm sitting in the car on my laptop at the moment, using someone's unsecured wireless network - thanks for that!

More World Book Day Pictures!!!

March 2nd 2006 is World Book Day.  We will be celebrating in school on Friday 3rd March by dressing up as a character from one of our favourite books (staff included!)

All children will be bringing home a £1 book token - this can be used at our own Book Fair (starting after school today) or at a major bookshop.

There are also some special £1 books (so you can use your token to get them free of charge)

The titles are:

• Here Comes Harry and his Bucketful of Dinosaurs
• Rainbow Magic
• Hannah The Happy Ever After Fairy
• How To Train Your Viking by Toothless The Dragon
• The Mum Surprise
• The Stone Pilot
• Koyasan

World Book Day 2006

Welcome to the new Walsall Wood JMI Website.  The old site had been gathering dust for a while and was rapidly becoming out of date, so thought it was time for a revamp.  You can join as a member, post comments and messages in our discussion forum and read the latest school news.

Obviously the website will take time to develop but it will hopefully become a useful tool in communicating with parents, staff, pupils and the world!
